We already kicked off the month wearing blue shirt district-wide. Bunger students and staff really got behind the effort and turned out in blue! Check out the pictures Ms. Evanson snapped of all that Bunger pride! Students are also signing a pledge during lunch in the cafeteria this week.
Next week, we will all wear orange to celebrate Unity Day on October 10th. First hour classess will also be decorating their doors in honor of bulling prevention month. (Stay tuned for pictures.)
Finally, we'll end the busiest October EVER by celebrating Red Ribbon Week with SPIRIT DAYS!
October 22nd - Stomp Out Drugs: Wear mismatched shoes
October 23rd - Black Out Drugs: Wear Black
October 24th - I'm Too Bright to Do Drugs - Wear Bright Colors
October 25th - Sock It to Drugs - Wear Crazy Socks
October 26th - Wear Red in Honor of Red Ribbon Week
Don't forget that you still need to follow the school dress code while we celebrate together.
We also have a display of books in honor of Bullying Prevention Month. The books cover a wide range of genres (types of books) for all kinds of readers!
